About Science Fair
Science Fair, Landmark permanent, first released in September 2026 in the set Seeds of Unity.
Science Fair is best in a slow Axiom control or value deck that regularly wants to move situational, expensive, or reserve-synergy cards out of its hand while replacing them with fresh cards, especially if the deck can later recover value from Reserve; however, paying four mana for a permanent that only filters one card per turn is a substantial tempo investment, and it does not immediately affect the board, so aggressive Axiom lists and ordinary midrange decks should generally avoid it. Unless your deck specifically exploits Reserve, cards that provide immediate board presence or more efficient card advantage, such as Foundry Mechanic or Axiom Reprocessor, are usually better uses of the slot, and Science Fair should see play only as a niche one-of or carefully tested inclusion in dedicated Reserve-focused control builds rather than as a generally strong staple.
