About Echo
Echo, Token, designed by None first released in september 2026 in the set Neverending Journey.
Echo is best in a go-wide Ordis Soldier deck that consistently fills both Expeditions with cheap Soldiers—particularly builds that generate bodies from Reserve and reward you for having multiple characters in an Expedition—because it is a free additional Soldier that can become a 1-boost play once two other Soldiers are already there. It is much weaker in midrange, control, or mixed-faction lists that cannot reliably meet that condition, and since it is a token it should be viewed as a payoff generated by other cards rather than a card to build around. A guaranteed-stat zero-cost Soldier token would be better when you need immediate, reliable Expedition presence, while Echo is better only when your board is already developed; therefore, Echo should see play only as an incidental generated token in dedicated Soldier-swarm strategies, not as a reason to choose a generator or archetype by itself.
