Terrified Ghost mainly benefits a Yzmir control or discard-focused deck that can reliably discard its own cards—or expects the opponent to attack its hand—because its ability turns an otherwise dead discard into a Resupply and helps maintain resources; it is much less attractive in aggressive Yzmir lists that need every two-cost play to establish immediate board pressure. There is no strictly better card for the specific “benefit when discarded” role, but if you cannot trigger that ability consistently, a proactive two-cost option such as Yzmir Initiate is generally better because it contributes to your board and game plan immediately. It should see play as a situational one- or two-of in discard/reserve-synergy builds, but it is not a card I would include automatically in ordinary Yzmir decks.
