This card, Raze, would benefit decks that focus on aggressive strategies and aim to disrupt their opponent's mana base. However, there are better alternatives such as Stone Rain or Molten Rain which not only destroy a land but also don't require sacrificing one of your own lands. Raze could be considered for niche situations or specific deck strategies, but in general, it may not see much play compared to more efficient land destruction cards.
