A control deck that focuses on stalling the game and generating value through token creation would benefit from using Chrysalis R. While the Defender ability can be a drawback during Dusk, the ability to create a 2/2/2 Illusion token upon leaving the Expedition Zone provides additional board presence and can be used for defensive purposes or to apply pressure. While there may be other cards that offer similar effects, Chrysalis R could be a solid inclusion in the right deck archetype.
