Bugfix is best in a slow-to-midrange Altered Axiom deck that can reliably generate and spend counters, especially a Robot- or token-focused deck that benefits from repeatedly adding small bodies to an Expedition; because its ability requires a cooldown and costs a counter from a controlled or Reserved card, it is mainly a value engine rather than an immediate tempo play. It is unlikely to be better than more efficient token makers or cards that provide a body, progress, and/or counter manipulation without requiring both setup and a cooldown, so cards such as Brassbug Hive or direct, unconditional Robot-production effects would generally be preferable if available in your list. Bugfix should see play only when your deck has abundant expendable counters, strong Robot synergies, or a reliable way to exploit multiple token activations; otherwise, its low-impact 2/2/2 token and conditional activation make it too slow for competitive play, and it is probably a niche inclusion rather than an
