About Scylla
Scylla, Character, designed by None first released in september 2026 in the set Neverending Journey.
Scylla best fits a Muna control or disruption deck that can stall the opponent, keep both players’ hands large, and capitalize on Boost and Sabotage, especially against slow decks that routinely hold four or more cards; however, seven mana is a major cost and the symmetrical discard effect can benefit the opponent by giving them a fresh three-card hand, while the 8+ threshold is too conditional to justify building around. In most Muna lists, reliable cards such as **The Great-Bear**, **Muna Caregiver**, or cheaper Sabotage and expedition-control options provide value earlier and more consistently, making them better inclusions than Scylla. Scylla should see play only as a metagame-dependent one-of or late-game finisher in a dedicated hand-disruption control deck; it is not a generally strong competitive staple.
