About Requiem
Requiem, Spell, designed by None first released in september 2026 in the set Whispers from the Maze.
Requiem best fits a Muna control or tempo deck that wants cheap, flexible interaction against low-cost threats—especially a list built to exploit or punish Fleeting Characters while still having an answer to troublesome Permanents. Its main weakness is that it cannot remove non-Fleeting Characters, its Hand Cost 4 restriction becomes poor later in the game, and Fleeting means it cannot be banked in Reserve, so it is somewhat narrow and creates card disadvantage if no valid target exists. It is generally weaker than broader removal such as **Bait and Switch** or other unconditional Character-removal options when those are available, while dedicated Permanent removal is preferable if your metagame is dominated by landmarks or other Permanents. Requiem should see play as a one- or two-copy metagame or sideboard-style inclusion in Muna decks, particularly in an aggressive environment with many cheap Fleeting Characters, but it should not be an automatic staple or a full playset in most dec
