About Angry Crowd
Angry Crowd, Spell, designed by None first released in september 2026 in the set Seeds of Unity.
Angry Crowd fits best in a slow Ordis control or midrange deck that needs unconditional answers to either Characters or Permanents and can use the Manaseed to recover some of its five-mana investment; it is especially valuable against large threats, durable Landmarks, and decks that rely on a single key Permanent. However, its high cost and Fleeting make it inefficient in aggressive or tempo-focused lists, and cheaper removal such as **Banishing Gate** is generally better when you only need to answer a Character, while Angry Crowd is preferable when flexible Permanent removal and true Discard access matter. It should see play as a one- or two-copy inclusion in control-oriented Ordis builds, but it is not an automatic staple because five mana is a significant commitment and the Manaseed does not fully offset that cost.
