Devoted Protector fits naturally into a Feat-heavy Altered-Ordis aggro or midrange shell, where triggering its conditional on turn 1 (or shortly after) gives your character an early boost that can swing early trades, push additional chip damage, or help survive an opposing attack on the following turn — decks running multiple 1-cost Feats (e.g., proactive 1-drops that double as engine pieces) get the cleanest, most repeated value out of it, while dedicated control Ordis decks rarely want a conditional 1-drop that does nothing if you miss your Feat. Whether it sees competitive play is doubtful: in most formats a vanilla or French-vanilla 1-drop that grants a boost unconditionally, or a 1-drop Feat that advances your game plan on its own (card draw, token generation, recursion), will outclass a card that needs a specific board state to be more than a blank, so unless the Feat synergies in your environment are so dense that you reliably have one in hand on turn 1, I'd treat Devoted Protec
