Esta carta, Desastre Inminente, sería más beneficiosa en un mazo rojo agresivo que apunta a aumentar rápidamente las tierras y perturbar la base de maná del oponente. Aunque puede ser una herramienta poderosa para debilitar a los oponentes con muchas tierras, puede que no sea la elección más eficiente ya que hay mejores cartas de destrucción de tierras como Armagedón o Estragos de la Guerra que tienen un impacto más inmediato. Sin embargo, si se usa estratégicamente en el mazo correcto, Desastre Inminente aún puede ser una opción viable para perturbar los recursos de los oponentes y asegurar una victoria.

This ability does not trigger at all if there are not seven lands on the battlefield at the beginning of upkeep. It checks this number again when it is going to resolve and does not do anything if the land count is below 7.
