Sello del Suelo puede ser beneficioso en un mazo que depende de interacciones con el cementerio, como estrategias de reanimación o mazos que utilizan cartas con mecánicas de flashback o delve. Aunque proporciona robo de cartas y protección contra el odio al cementerio, otras cartas como Descanso en Paz o Línea Ley del Vacío ofrecen una interrupción más completa del cementerio y pueden ser más efectivas en ciertos metajuegos. Si Sello del Suelo debería verse en juego depende en última instancia del mazo específico y su estrategia, así como de la prevalencia de estrategias basadas en el cementerio en el meta actual.
