About Time Out!

Time Out! best fits a Yzmir control or tempo deck that wants to delay opposing four-cost-or-less characters, especially lists built around removal, reserve disruption, and buying time to reach powerful late-game turns; however, it is only temporary interaction because the opponent can replay the character, and its Fleeting restriction plus three-mana cost makes it somewhat inefficient. In most situations, stronger alternatives are Yzmir’s permanent removal options such as **Kraken’s Wrath** when you can afford its higher cost, while **Bamboozle!** is generally preferable if you want cheaper, more flexible tempo interaction; exact comparisons depend on your faction combination and format.
