Thoth would be particularly beneficial in a token or swarm strategy deck that focuses on generating multiple low-cost units to overwhelm opponents or control the board, especially during the Dusk phase when the ability triggers. Decks that emphasize synergy with tokens, such as those that can buff or utilize them for sacrifice effects, would maximize Thoth's potential. While there may be other cards that can create tokens, such as Elspeth, Sun's Champion, which can create three 1/1 Soldier tokens and has additional powerful abilities, Thoth's specific timing and cost might still make it a valuable inclusion in certain decks. Ultimately, whether Thoth should see play depends on the overall strategy and synergy within the deck, but it has potential in the right build.
