About Silenus
Silenus, Character, first released in September 2026 in the set Neverending Journey.
Silenus fits best in a Muna deck built to keep Characters Anchored across multiple expeditions—especially lists that can reliably establish early Anchored bodies and convert incremental boosts into winning one or both expeditions—rather than in a generic midrange deck, since a single boost is not enough payoff without consistent Anchor support. It is a reasonable low-cost synergy piece, but not a staple: cards that independently provide stronger board presence, Anchor generation, card advantage, or multiple boosts are generally preferable, and Silenus becomes worse when you cannot guarantee an Anchored target. In most competitive builds, prioritize your more impactful Anchor enablers and payoffs first; play Silenus only if your deck has a high enough density of Anchored Characters and specifically values cheap repeatable boost access, otherwise it is likely a cut.
