About Rage

Rage, Spell, designed by None first released in September 2026 in the set Skybound Odyssey.

Rage fits tempo-oriented Yzmir decks—especially Afanas spell lists—that want a cheap spell trigger and enough immediate stats to steal an expedition; it can also target an opposing non-Fleeting character in an expedition you are willing to concede, causing that character to be discarded at Dusk rather than returned to Reserve, although the two boosts make this use situational. Magical Training is generally better when you want efficient boosting and card advantage, while Off You Go! is better as reliable interaction, but neither offers Rage’s combination of burst power and delayed removal. Rage is therefore a flexible role-player rather than a staple: consider one or two copies in aggressive or spell-synergy builds, but leave it out of slower control decks unless the metagame contains many valuable replayable characters.
