About Melantho
Melantho, Character, first released in September 2026 in the set Neverending Journey.
Melantho fits an aggressive Bravos deck that wants to disrupt the opponent's reserve while continuing to develop expeditions, especially builds that can reliably pay the red requirement and value the extra boost more than raw expedition stats. Sabotage is strongest against reserve-dependent strategies, but at 2 mana Melantho is likely a situational inclusion rather than a core card: use it when your local field contains decks that set up powerful reserve effects or when your list specifically rewards boosts. More efficient Bravos characters with stronger immediate expedition power, or dedicated disruption cards that sabotage more reliably, will generally be preferable in a generic competitive list; Melantho should see play mainly as a meta call or synergy piece, not as an automatic staple.
