Jumping Frog fits best in a low-curve Bravos tempo deck that can commit its important plays early, then comfortably pass first to turn the Frog into a progressively stronger expedition character; it is especially reasonable alongside other boost payoffs or ways to protect and reuse a boosted character. That said, the reward is only one boost and requires giving up the option to react with further plays that turn, so it is generally a niche role-player rather than a staple—more proactive one-drops such as Bravos Pathfinder are usually better when you need immediate expedition stats or reliable value without changing how you sequence your turn. Play Jumping Frog only if your list regularly passes first after establishing the board and can capitalize on boosts; otherwise, use a more independently efficient Bravos character.
