About Hesperide
Hesperide, Character, first released in September 2026 in the set Seeds of Unity.
Hesperide would fit best in a tempo or control deck that can reliably generate extra Muna, especially one built around defensive play and recurring value from its own Characters, since paying 2 to bounce a Permanent can answer an opponent’s landmark, support, or other persistent threat while leaving Hesperide on the board; however, the ability is expensive because the card already costs 2 and returning a Permanent to hand is usually temporary, so it is weaker in aggressive decks and can be awkward when you need to develop your board. Cards such as **Bamboozle** are generally better for immediate tempo because they provide similar bounce interaction more efficiently, while dedicated Permanent-removal options are preferable when available because they prevent the opponent from replaying the target. Hesperide should see play only in a slower deck that specifically wants repeatable Permanent interaction or benefits from its Character body; it is unlikely to be a staple and should be treate
