Daedalus is best suited to a midrange or combo deck built around Characters in Reserve and Boost synergies, especially one that can reliably reuse, protect, or exploit a boosted Character; however, its 3 Lyra cost is relatively expensive for an effect that only guarantees 1 boost and has a 50% chance of also helping the opponent, so it is weaker in straightforward aggro, control, or decks without strong Reserve payoffs. Unless your deck specifically rewards targeting Reserve Characters or gains more value from boosts than the opponent does, more reliable cards that grant your own Characters boosts without benefiting the opponent—or that provide immediate board presence or card advantage—are likely better, and Daedalus should generally not see competitive play except as a niche synergy piece in a dedicated Reserve/Boost deck.
