About Athena
Athena, Character, designed by None first released in October 2024 in the set Beyond the Gates - KS Edition and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Athena would fit well in a deck focused on maintaining a strong board presence with multiple Characters, as her boosts can significantly enhance overall performance when you control two or more allies. This makes her particularly effective in swarm or aggro-style decks that prioritize flooding the field with Characters. However, if you're looking for a more consistent power boost without the conditional loss of Fleeting, consider cards like Empowered Guardian, which offers reliable enhancements without the need for multiple Characters. Overall, Athena can be a fun and strategic choice, especially in specific builds, but her effectiveness may be limited compared to more universally powerful options.
