A deck that focuses on graveyard interactions or card advantage, such as a control or combo deck, would benefit from using Careful Study in Magic: the Gathering. While Careful Study is a solid card for filtering through your deck and fueling graveyard strategies, a better alternative could be Chart a Course, which allows you to draw two cards for just one mana if you attack with a creature. However, Careful Study could still see play in specific strategies that require card selection and graveyard filling.
