Anubis would be particularly beneficial in a control or midrange deck that focuses on board control and resource denial, as it forces both players to sacrifice a character, potentially allowing you to remove a key threat while sacrificing a less important one. However, decks that rely heavily on maintaining a board presence or have a lot of low-cost characters might find this card detrimental. A better alternative could be a card like Wrath of God, which can wipe the board without sacrificing your own characters, making it more advantageous in many situations.
