About The Lectern
The Lectern, Landmark permanent, first released in September 2026 in the set Seeds of Unity - Organized Play and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
The Lectern fits best in an Ordis sacrifice/value deck that can reliably turn Landmark permanents into resources while benefiting from both Resupply and an extra body at a Hero Expedition; it is particularly useful for strategies that need to contest the Hero side without spending a card from hand. However, it is likely a niche inclusion rather than a staple: dedicated Ordis token-makers and efficient 2-cost characters generally provide more immediate expedition stats and are better in straightforward go-wide or midrange lists, while stronger sacrifice payoffs are better when the deck is built fully around sacrificing. Play The Lectern only if your list can deliberately sacrifice it and values the Recruit plus Resupply; otherwise, use a more efficient Recruit-producing character or a higher-impact permanent instead.
