About Sol & Halua
Sol & Halua, Hero, designed by None first released in September 2026 in the set Skybound Odyssey and was printed exactly in 5 different ways.
Sol & Halua fits a low-curve Bravos tempo deck built to empty its hand and pass first often, preferably with efficient 1–2 cost characters, card draw or reserve generation to keep doing so, and cards that reward a wide Companion Expedition; after three early passes, Halua supplies recurring expedition pressure without costing mana, and at five Quest counters it becomes a major threat through Gigantic. It is less suitable for reactive, expensive, or reserve-heavy Bravos builds, since those decks often cannot safely pass first and waiting three turns for the payoff is slow. Compared with more immediately impactful Bravos heroes such as Kojo & Booda—if the deck wants reliable turn-by-turn tempo rather than a delayed token—Sol & Halua is generally less consistent, but it can be the better choice in a dedicated “pass first” shell that can protect its expeditions and capitalize on the free Companion; it should see play as a niche build-around hero rather than as the default competitive Bravo
