About Pasiphaë
Pasiphaë, Character, designed by None first released in September 2026 in the set Whispers from the Maze and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Pasiphaë is best in a Yzmir tempo or control deck that expects the opponent to develop several Characters, since it can become a strong temporary attacker or blocker while benefiting from Fleeting synergies; it is particularly useful against wide, character-heavy decks but weak when the opponent has few or no Characters. However, it is not an automatic staple: its value is conditional and its Fleeting means it offers little lasting board presence, so reliable removal or stronger permanent two-cost Characters will generally be better in competitive lists. Play Pasiphaë if your deck regularly faces wide boards or specifically rewards Fleeting Characters; otherwise, it should usually be left out.
