About Nike
Nike, Character, designed by None first released in September 2026 in the set Skybound Odyssey.
Nike is best suited to a slow Muna ramp/late-game control deck that can reliably reach seven mana and wants to win through repeated expedition progress rather than a single large day: Eternal makes her Noon ability recur every turn she remains in play, so she is strongest when you can protect or support the expedition she is advancing. She is generally too expensive for aggressive or tempo-oriented Muna lists, which would rather deploy multiple cheaper characters and secure both expeditions immediately. Hydracaena is usually the better generic seven-cost Muna payoff when you need raw expedition stats and immediate board impact, while Nike is the better choice only when the recurring targeted Ascend effect is central to your plan or especially valuable against a particular matchup; therefore, Nike is playable as a niche one- or two-copy finisher, but she is unlikely to be a staple unless a dedicated Ascend strategy becomes competitive.
