About Moth Collision
Moth Collision, Spell, designed by None first released in September 2026 in the set Skybound Odyssey.
I’m checking the card data and surrounding balance conventions first so the recommendation uses the game’s actual costs, tags, and comparable removal cards.Moth Collision would best fit a Soldier-focused midrange or tempo deck, where controlling a Soldier reliably reduces its cost to 3 altered-ordis and the deck can use the targeted Character removal to clear blockers or eliminate an important threat; however, its [[Fleeting]] keyword means the card is inefficient when you cannot immediately use it, and in a general deck paying 4 for a one-for-one discard is likely too expensive. It should see play mainly if Soldier decks lack efficient unconditional removal, but it is probably weaker than cheaper or more flexible alternatives such as removal that costs 3 or less, can target additional card types, or provides value beyond simple discarding; unless the metagame is dominated by high-value Characters that must be answered immediately, I would treat Moth Collision as a situational inclusio
