Janus best fits a discard-heavy Yzmir control or midrange deck—especially one that repeatedly discards cards as an additional cost or converts unwanted cards into value—because every discard permanently improves both sides of this [Gigantic] character, potentially letting one card contest both Expeditions efficiently. It is less attractive in ordinary Yzmir lists, where a four-cost character with modest starting statistics may require too much setup and can be answered before generating enough boosts. More immediately reliable four-cost options, such as **The Sandman** for disruption or **Flamel** in spell-focused builds, are generally better when their effects support your strategy, while larger [Gigantic] finishers can provide a stronger standalone impact. Janus should therefore see play as a synergy card—usually one or two copies—in a deck that expects to discard several times after playing it, but it is not an automatic Yzmir staple and should be omitted if your deck cannot trigger
