About Iphigenia

Iphigenia, Character, first released in September 2026 in the set Neverending Journey.

Iphigenia belongs in an Axiom sacrifice deck that can repeatedly turn disposable Permanents—especially tokens or low-value supports—into value, since sacrificing her refunds one exhausted Mana Orb and lets the deck keep developing its board; however, at three mana she is fairly slow and only worthwhile when your deck can reliably sacrifice her immediately or exploit her as a renewable resource. In most Axiom lists, more direct ramp or value cards are better, particularly `Mana Channeling` for dependable mana acceleration and `Brassbug Hub` or other efficient Permanent-generating cards if your plan is to create sacrifice fodder. Iphigenia should therefore see play only as a synergy piece in a dedicated sacrifice-focused build, not as a generally playable three-cost Character.
