About FarFetch 2.0

FarFetch 2.0, Character, designed by None first released in September 2026 in the set Skybound Odyssey.

FarFetch 2.0 best fits a sacrifice-oriented Yzmir deck that can cheaply create expendable Characters or Permanents and wants to manipulate expedition positions, either rescuing an important ally from a losing expedition or forcing an opponent’s strong Character into a bad matchup; however, outside that narrow shell it is inefficient because it requires both a three-mana investment and an additional sacrifice for an effect that does not remove or permanently weaken the target. Dedicated sacrifice cards with stronger immediate value, such as **The Ouroboros**, are generally better choices, while Yzmir control decks usually prefer direct removal, support destruction, or more reliable expedition manipulation. FarFetch 2.0 should therefore see play only as a niche synergy piece in a deck specifically built around sacrifice targets and switching tricks, not as a generally competitive Yzmir staple.
