About Drowsy Dodo
Drowsy Dodo, Character, designed by None first released in September 2026 in the set Skybound Odyssey.
Drowsy Dodo best fits a slow Muna control or defensive midrange deck—especially one that benefits from keeping characters on the board between turns or has other Asleep synergies—because it can effectively “wait” through Dusk, avoid returning to Reserve during Rest, and wake when an opposing character joins its Expedition; however, it is too conditional for most competitive lists, since while Asleep it contributes no statistics and an opponent can often avoid facing it. In general, a more reliable two-cost Muna character such as Muna Caregiver is usually better because it provides immediate, consistent value rather than requiring a specific board state, so Drowsy Dodo should only see play as a niche inclusion in an Asleep-focused or particularly slow deck, not as a default two-cost card.
