About Daedalus
Daedalus, Character, designed by None first released in September 2026 in the set Whispers from the Maze and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Daedalus best fits a Bravos midrange/boost-value deck that wants to develop both expeditions and Reserve, since its Scout cost lets it be deployed cheaply while its activation can place boosts on a key Character in either zone; it is especially worthwhile alongside effects that reward boosted Characters or let you replay/use Reserve cards, though the die roll makes it a support piece rather than a reliable engine. There is no strict universally better replacement because Daedalus uniquely combines Scout with cross-zone boost distribution, but more consistent tempo cards or unconditional boost enablers are generally preferable if your deck cannot exploit Reserve targets or benefit materially from multiple boosted units. It should see play as a one-to-three-copy utility card in boost-focused Bravos lists, but is likely too low-impact for generic Bravos builds where its random outcome and setup requirements do not translate into a decisive expedition advantage.
