About Bluecap
Bluecap, Character, designed by None first released in September 2026 in the set Skybound Odyssey.
Bluecap would benefit a slow, defensive Landmark or control deck that can reliably cause its Expedition to fail during Dusk, turning a stalled turn into an Aerolith token and gradually building board value; it is especially suitable if Aeroliths support your win condition, provide resources, or improve Landmark synergies. However, without the Aerolith token’s text and the available card pool, it is impossible to name a definitively better card; generally, a card that advances your Expedition consistently, creates an Aerolith without requiring failure, or generates immediate defensive value would be stronger and more reliable. Bluecap should see play only in a deck deliberately built around Dusk failures and Aerolith production; in a normal Expedition deck, its conditional trigger and two altered-axiom cost make it too slow and inconsistent.
