Anubis would be particularly beneficial in a control or midrange deck that focuses on board control and resource denial, as it forces both players to sacrifice a character, potentially allowing you to remove a key threat while sacrificing a less important one. However, decks that rely heavily on maintaining a board presence or have a lot of low-cost characters might find this card detrimental. A better alternative could be a card like Wrath of God, which can wipe the board without sacrificing your own characters, making it more advantageous in many situations. Overall, while Anubis has its niche, it may not see widespread play due to the availability of more efficient board control options.
