About Amarok
Amarok, Character, first released in January 2025 in the set Trial by Frost.
A deck focused on quickly emptying the Expedition of Characters would benefit from using Amarok R, as it can be played for a reduced cost and gain boosts when Characters are sacrificed. However, the drawback of sacrificing Characters may not always be worth the boost gained, making it situational. Other cards like Shadow Stalker, which can provide consistent boosts without sacrificing Characters, may be a better choice depending on the deck strategy.
