Deep-Cloud Instructor best fits an aggressive or tempo-oriented Bravos deck that can exploit [Rush] immediately, especially lists containing characters with strong Reserve abilities that become active when played from hand; its own Reserve effect, gaining 2 boosts, also supports a board that plans to keep progressing rather than trading resources. However, it is relatively situational: in a straightforward Bravos beatdown deck, a more impactful two-cost character such as Bravos Bladedancer or Bravos Vanguard will usually provide better immediate stats and consistent pressure, while slower midrange or control decks generally have little reason to include it. It should see play only in a dedicated Rush/Reserve-synergy build, ideally as a one- or two-of; otherwise, it is outclassed by more reliable threats.
