Kali is best in an Axiom sacrifice or “Permanent matters” deck that can reliably exploit both halves of her ability—for example, a list using disposable Brassbugs, expendable Permanents, or sacrifice-triggered effects—because otherwise putting a Permanent from hand into Reserve is usually too slow and sacrificing one of your own cards is a painful fallback; in a normal Axiom midrange or tempo deck, dedicated Permanent enablers such as **Brassbug Hub** or stronger value-generating Permanent cards are generally better because they provide immediate, repeatable advantage without requiring a sacrifice, so Kali should see play only as a niche one- or two-copy inclusion in a sacrifice-focused build, not as a generally playable staple.
