FarFetch 2.0 best fits an Axiom sacrifice/value deck that produces expendable permanents, since turning a disposable token or an already-spent permanent into expedition manipulation can convert a losing lane into a winning one, protect your own character from an unfavorable expedition, or disrupt an opponent's carefully allocated stats; it is substantially weaker in ordinary Axiom builds that cannot reliably afford the sacrifice. It is a situational tactical card rather than a core rate card at 4 mana, and I would generally prioritize cheaper, immediate expedition-pressure cards or permanent-sacrifice payoffs before it; there is not a universally “better” direct replacement because switching expeditions is unusual interaction, but cards that advance your own expedition total without requiring both a permanent and a valid character target will usually be more consistent.
