Moth Collision fits an Illusion-focused Yzmir tempo/control deck, where controlling an Illusion makes it a very efficient 2-mana answer to opposing cheap Characters, especially early plays or low-cost units carrying strong support effects; it is less attractive in generic Yzmir lists because paying 4 mana for removal capped at hand cost 3 is inefficient, and Fleeting prevents repeat value. There is no strictly better card in every situation, but unconditional removal or disruption that hits larger Characters is generally preferable when your deck can support it; Moth Collision earns slots only if your Illusion count is reliably high and your local opponents lean on 1-3 cost Characters. It should see niche play, typically as a small inclusion rather than a core three-of, in dedicated Illusion decks.
